OBJECTIVE
* Senior environmental engineering position in a mature work environment
providing the opportunity to develop creativity while fulfilling leadership
potential and learning new skills of execution & delivery utilizing multi-
disciplinary environmental engineering and project management experience in
air quality, pollution prevention, natural resources.
WORK EXPERIENCE
* 22 years of experience in all phases of environmental engineering, with
particular emphasis on air quality management. Manage environmental
projects of all sizes, from $2,000 to >$700,000, with one to four
supervised personnel. Possess working knowledge of environmental
regulations from federal and several state/local agencies. Interface with
regulatory agency personnel as a matter of course in helping clients to
make wise business decisions. Develop and maintain databases of
environmental information to ensure regulatory compliance. Provide
technical training for supervised personnel & environmental management
clients. Deliver high-quality product consistently meeting established
project deadlines.
Areas of Primary Experience
Air Quality: Broad experience providing air quality services for a variety
of both large & small industrial corporations, and military facilities in
several states. Services provided include:
. Development of extensive & comprehensive air emissions inventories;
. Preparation of installation/construction and operating permit
applications, including Title V and mobile/complex source permits for
industrial clients;
. Air permit database design, development, and implementation,
including information on emission units/sources, control equipment,
permit limits, operational constraints, implementation/modification
dates, etc.;
. Design and development oversight for Web-based NESHAP/MACT compliance
assurance/documentation tool;
. Preparation of Best Available (Control) Technology [BAT/BACT]
studies;
. Air quality dispersion modeling for stationary point, area, and
mobile sources using US EPA-approved models; &
. Performance of compliance audits with respect to federal and
state/local regulations.
Environmental/Natural Resources: Lichen ecology; Wetlands delineation;
Botanical plant identification (terrestrial & aquatic); Avian population
evaluation; Phase-1 environmental site assessments (ESAs).
Pollution Prevention: Waste-stream analyses and database management for Air
Quality & Hazardous Waste baseline audits.
Water Quality Permitting: Preparation of Spill Prevention Control and
Countermeasure (SPCC) plans, Storm Water Pollution Prevention (SWPP) plans,
Groundwater Protection plans, municipal wastewater and NPDES stormwater
discharge permit applications.
Hazardous Waste: SARA 312 (Tier 2) and SARA 313 (Form R) reporting.
