DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

Designing & preparing drawing for steel, Aluminium & Glazing works

Preparing proposal drawings as per project requirements.

Preparing production shop drawings.

A) Preparing drawings based on approved Architectural drawings.

B) Drawings will be prepared based on door, window & curtain wall schedule

And elevation

C) Providing profile or sectional details of doors windows and curtain walls

(Conventional,2 Way & 4 Way).

D) Providing cutting list and details of materials to be used (for curtain wall,

Doors, windows, sliding windows etc.)

E) Preparing drawings by considering of optimum utilization of materials,

Machine & Men.

F) Preparation of material order from architectural or shop drawings.

G) Coordination between site & factory for delivery of fabricated items in time as per

. priority.

Material Estimation

A) Providing estimating details of the project based on requirements.

B) Quantity surveying for Estimation and for material order.

Checking all drawings and making review before submitting.

Coordinating with dept. head and consultants (via Project management) for any quarries.

Coordinating with estimation dept. for preparing shop drawings.

Coordinating with production dept. for drawing implementations and if any changes

Updating immediately for further fabrication of materials.

Collecting measurement from site to achieve accuracy, feasibility of materials and design.

Prepare the submittals to submit to main contractor and be sure all material must be

complying with project specification.

1. Aspire Fitness Center, Doha-Qatar (external steel structure, curtain wall, Alum. Cladding-

cost 10 million QR)

2. Mamoura Police Station, Doha-Qatar (alum cladding- cost 1 million QR)
