JOB DESCRIPTION:
I am presently working in anInfirmary Institution which taking care of Geriatric Priest with
different diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Hypertension and Diabetes mellitus and my
duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Taking vital signs including observations and monitoring.
- Assists patient in Bathing, Grooming, Hair washing, Dressing and skin care.
- Assists patient in transfer, positioning, turning mobility and ambulation.
- Help patient in range of motion and strengthening exercises to maintain optimal level of
functioning.
- Provide respiratory assistance, tracheostomy suctioning using a clean procedure (determined
by RN and only after training by an RN)
- Provide assistance in food, nutrition and diet activities of patients.
- Assistance with Medication (but with RN Supervision)
- Cleaning in relationship to cares provided, assisting with activities of daily living.
