Responsible for supervision of 32 operating- technicians and collaborated with both Reliability and Technical Service
teams on various initiatives. Ensured successful operation for 2 Voith Incline Former base machines that produced
Wypall Wipers, including achievement of safety, quality, production, efficiency, and cost control objectives.
Performed troubleshooting as needed. Monitored budget and expenses closely to protect against overruns.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Launched #2 base machine and started-up rebuild of #1 base machine, improving overall efficiencies
and rate of operations in 2010, 2011, and 2012.
Reduced Spunbond inventories from 1 week to 6 hours in 2011 through efforts in developing and
implementing value stream project with the Spunbound supplier.
Facilitated 50% reduction in chemical inventories by introducing 5S Lean tool to the manufacturing team
and implementing it within the chemical storage area.

Spearheaded efforts for team of 24 operating technicians and 3 engineers in operation of Suction Breast Roll base
machine that produced Kleenex facial tissue product. Responsible for operations of both mill steam plant and water
works plant. Continually monitored performance in all areas to maintain fulfillment of quality, safety, and
productivity objectives. Collaborated with mill maintenance and technical service teams on various activities and
projects.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Improved machine efficiency from 87% to 90% by rearranging collaboration between maintenance and
operations during planned maintenance downtimes to achieve better reliability.
