McGowan Builders, Inc. is a Florida Corporation, (with the Corporate Headquarters out of New Jersey), who builds and performs the remodeling of existing commercial property sites for large corporations, such as; Staples, Inc., Bally's Fitness Centers and Commerce Banking Institutions. As a Project Manager, my job is to schedule all aspects of the building from the ground up. In most instances, to include; framing, electrical, plumbing, data wiring installations, sheetrock to completion of all projects. CMS handled more than 34,500 apartments, condominium and commercial units throughout the State of Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. I worked closely with unit owners, Association Boards', and contractors to provide service agreements for full phase property maintenance, to include; plumbing, electrical, renovations, repairs and supplies to improve or upgrade the property.
My company was responsible for the day-to-day property management of both commercial and residential properties throughout the above-listed areas. I supervised all capital and improvement projects at each site, as well as any major repairs made at these sites. I performed job costing, cost savings and installation of kitchens and baths. Cello's Restaurant, Warwick, RI - Project Manager - Located on the same road as the Airport Plaza project, the buildings of a new restaurant, from foundation to final occupancy permit. All planning and management of all contractors for the completion of this project. I-HOP Pancake House, Middleton, RI - Project Manager - Complete build-out, from original planning to final occupancy permit. This is the only I-Hop Pancake House located within the State of Rhode Island. I handled this project from foundation to final occupancy permit, scheduling and supervising all contractors of the construction trades and site work. Sienna's Restaurant, Providence, RI - Project Manager - Complete build-out and changeover for this restaurant, located on Federal Hill, Providence, RI. From site work and planning to final occupancy permit in place. Wakefield Commons, Wakefield, RI - Project Manager - Strip Mall, complete renovations to all stores located within this plaza, (16 stores total), from planning and original site work to final occupancy permit in place. All site work, construction trades supervision and the management of all service personnel to complete the project in a time-efficient manner.
