. Managed the Miramar cross dock operations. From hiring, managing,

issuing performance counseling and corrective action to dismissal of

employees. Provided warehouse and driving safety training, planned

work schedules and routes to a fleet of delivery drivers as well as

monitoring delivery progress. Attained a daily delivery completion of

98% without compromising safety. During my tenure, we had a zero loss

time and one full year free of accidents.

. Planned load distribution amongst private fleet, third party carriers

and FedEx. Maximizing line-haul's capacity to avoid dead space and

increase delivery volume into private fleet.

. Responsible for the accurate receipt of PO's as well as ensuring

. Participated in the establishment of new proof of delivery (POD)

. Reevaluated and scheduled delivery routes improving the P&L by

approximately 10% on the first months in comparison with previous

year's reports. These improvements decreased OT from 20% over plan to

. Encouraged the use of a fuel card system previously established that

saved our customer money. The card usage went from 34% avg. to 100%.

This changed translated to approximately $7,000 in fuel savings for

our customer.

. Worked on annual and monthly budget and exploring opportunities to

increase Penske's profitability as well as profitability and savings

to our customer. Maintained and monitored operational expenses through

a PO log meeting monthly/annual budgets for the operation. Reduced

unnecessary annual expenses by approximately $20,000.

progress of product while ensuring drivers adhered to Penske's safety
