Commissioning of GE Jenbacher Natural/Bio Fuel engines

throughout the World. Worked on the Controls, Electrical, and

Mechanical systems with the Engines as well as Configuring

software to correct Gas to Air ratios and Power variables.

Completed final check list of engines including Timing, Valve

stem set points, Gas Variables, and Spark Plug gaps. My job is

to make sure the engine is ready for max performance and ready

for customer use. Another task is to train the customer to use

loop checks on the LM 6000's and balance of plant.

Worked on two LM 6000's in Tacoa Venezuela resolving

interconnect cabling issues and working with the

instrumentation group.

CEMS Technician

Was assigned to The Marafiq Plant in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia

for the installation and commissioning of CEMS systems for 12

GE frame 7 FA's. The site was a combined cycle project which we

also had to install and commission CEMS systems on the bypass

stacks for the boilers. My job duties consisted of installing

the sensing line and probes, installation of the CEMS

monitoring rooms, point to point checks, instrument

calibration, and loops checks.

Was assigned to GE Oil & Gas working on PG-10 units at

Vanderbilt University. This assignment was to replace the

bearings and instrumentation associated with temperature and

vibration.

Sep. 2009 to Nov. 2009 Hi-Tech Electric

Electrician

Worked on the remodeling of various High Rises and

Manufacturing Facilities throughout the Houston and surrounding

areas. Responsibilities included running of rigid and EMT

conduit, Replacing main feeders, installation and wiring of

transformers and adding new light fixtures and circuits.

Worked on the refurbishment of two GE LM 2500 packages. This

involved changing out the old control system from a Woodward

501turbine control to Allen Bradley PLC 5000. With the change

of control systems there was major changes done to the wiring

and instrumentation of the unit, fire system and generator

protection. My duties were to aid and direct craft personnel in

the installation of the new systems.

Worked on two GE frame 7B gas turbines in Panama during

commissioning and check out of the units. Installed the

Chematron fire system field devices for unit 200. Worked on all

on engine instrumentation and generator systems. Performed loop

checks and point to point activities.

Field Service Technician (controls)

Mattison Generating Station (Springdale Arkansas): This plant

had 4 GE frame 7EA gas turbine packages with GE Mark V controls

and Allen Bradley DCS system. I was responsible for point to

point checks on DCS, troubleshooting issues with field

instrumentation, waste water system, and clearing items off the

punch list.

Riverside Generating Station (Tulsa Oklahoma): This plant had 2

GE frame 7EA gas turbine packages with GE Mark V controls and

Allen Bradley DCS system. I was responsible for point to point

checks on DCS, troubleshooting issues with field

instrumentation, and clearing items off the punch list.

Was part of the unit refurbishment team were we did GE LM 6000

and LM 2500 package conversions from 60 HZ to 50 HZ with

control system modifications. The units were converted from

Woodward Governor control systems to Allen Bradley 5000 series

PLC's, fire system upgrades, complete new package wiring, new

instrumentation, and construction of new generator lube oil

systems.

Responsibilities included the installation and overseeing of

electrical and instrumentation systems for process skids being

manufactured at Lindy facility in Tulsa Oklahoma.

7EA gas turbine units. My duties covered the industrial

installation of cable tray, rigid conduit, cable pulling, duct

Commercial Electric held contracts for the installation of

diesel generator sets for all of Consolidated Communications

telephone switching stations. These duties required the

installation of the generator sets, switch gear, and transfer

switches as well as the commissioning of the systems.

Worked on Philmop doing commercial electrical installation for

a multi-story building with warehouse space.
