WORK EXPERIENCE - Presently working part-time as an Employment Specialist
for Roxbury Community College for the ICE program.
My duties include assessing young adults, ages 18-22 that have
learning disabilities along with other prolonged illnesses in providing
vocational counseling to determine employment eligibility in the community.
This also includes networking with communities and businesses in the area
and making contacts that would benefit our college and students in this
program. I work with a team of job coaches in supporting and developing
quality life skills, social skills, transitional services to adulthood and
preparing them for employment readiness in the community.
