• STRUCTURAL AND FUNCTIONAL EVALUVATION OF PAVEMENTS:

The project was about the strengthening of existing pavement using BENKELMAN BEAM

DEFLECTION (BBD) method which is used to measure the rebound deflection of flexible

pavement and using those details we can design the overlay of the pavements as per Indian Road

Congress (IRC) recommended.

Main project:

• STRENGTHENING AND WIDENING OF FLEXIBLE PAVEMENT

The objective of this project is strengthening the existing roads using Benkelman Beam

Deflection Method (BBD) and also widening the existing pavements using the traffic volume

data and the California Bearing Ratio (CBR) values of the roads as per Indian Road Congress

(IRC) recommended.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

• Won the second prize in Handball on ZONAL level two times( 2007 and 2008).

• Participate in Madurai marathon on 2008.

• Won the second prize in 4x100 relay athletics meet on zonal and inter zonal level, conducted

by Anna university, Chennai.

• Won the Basket Ball winner title in Tamil Nadu inter engineering sports meet 2013,

conducted by Adhiyamaan engineering college, Hosur.
