US Army Active Duty 14FEB2008 – 21MAY2013 Fort Bragg, NC

• Signal Support Systems Specialist -

February 2011- May 2013 Fort Bragg, NC

• Responsible for supervising, scheduling and training 10 team members. Responsible for

diagnosing, repairing and maintaining Windows based equipment to include secured network

(including 20-40 computers, 20-50 VoIP’s, and 50-100 users). Also deployed and maintained

Satellite Transmission Terminal. Configured, supervised and deployed Cisco based routers and

switches in support of network management. Responsible for maintaining administration duties,

installing network updates, installing printers, projectors, etc., placing work orders for accounts

and user rights and enforcing information assurance policies all while supervising 6 other

personnel. Responsible for operating, maintaining, installing and supporting operator level

support for 50 systems with a 97% function rate. Programmed and maintained Cisco switches

both in Command Post Nodes and Satellite Transmission Terminals. Maintained relationship and

support with area Field Service Representative. Extensive background knowledge and experience

with Communication Security equipment.

February 2011 - February 2012, Korea

• Responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting 100 to 200 network users. Responsible for

managing Communication Security distribution to company representatives. Duties included

assuming Manager of the Post Office Position, sorting, delivering, and forwarding over 1500

customer’s mail, supervising and training 20 other personnel.

February 2010 - February 2011, Fort Bragg, NC

• Successfully completed 12 evaluation boards resulting in winning 9 of them, Combatives Level

1, and Warrior Leadership Course. Responsible for developing, scheduling, and implementing all

training for 150 soldiers as the Training Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge.

January 2009 - February 2010, Afghanistan

While deployed to Afghanistan; helped set up, operate, install, and maintain the satellite

transmission terminal systems with a 97% function rate while supervising 4 other personnel.

Have worked extensively with the Communication Security encryption device as well as

provided several different varieties of Communication Security to the company’s 10-12 different

Communication Security representatives.
