Programming Analyst 02/2012-Current

The CCS Companies – sole engineer to Customer Relationship Management division Salem, NH

Individually automated QA of web portal with a multithreaded and multi-PC solution using Selenium GRID,

XPath, MbUnit/Gallio, and Jenkins, allowing for Agile development. Reduced the testing turnaround time from

two weeks’ worth of human labor to 15 minutes of PC runtime. Also includes a tool that allowed business-

side to build their own test cases using Gherkin.

Centralized one-off business tools such as executables, Perl scripts, flat file processing, and data handling into

an auto-updating WPF application using C# Visual Studio. This change organizes tasks, makes documentation

easy, reduces knowledge retention, and makes it much easier to reuse tools to serve a different purpose.

Individually researched and developed new RingFree messaging technology over SIP using Linux, Asterisk,

and FreePBX. The technology allowed users to drop messages directly into voicemail and provided the

business with an extra contact channel to sell over competitors.

Begin initiative to use data analytics with SSAS to produce clustering reports and also applied predictive

analytics to data with as good as only 3% error to allow for business decisions on future metrics.

Regularly create and automate business reports through SQL Server to drive strategy and generate business

Sync business systems with Salesforce using Apex and Dataloader allowing data usage on Salesforce in real-time.

Handling changes to inventory and shipping schedule updates using SQL Server from more than 2000

different suppliers and reflecting the results on over 2 million product pages in real-time.

Clean up leadtime usage across the system so retrieval and updates based on complex logic is easy

Launch multiple features to business critical process cleanly. The features included checkout inventory

management and auto multi-warehouse fulfillment (solved with a greedy Knapsack solution). These changes

removed the 5% of orders that were unfulfillable and handled split orders without human intervention.

Discover and fixed critical bug in holiday handling logic that led to overly aggressive leadtimes. The bug

caused late shipments and invalidated fulfillment metrics.
