chronically mentally ill and homeless. I provided case management services which included linking
consumers to needed services; coordinating between consumers, team members, staff, and community
organizations; completing required progress notes, quarterlies, and evaluations assessing consumer strengths
and needs; and other services as needed.
SERVICE
• Volunteered for Lunch Box Learners, a program through Midland Public Schools that pairs adults with
children who have various learning and social needs, for eight years.
• Member of the Spring 2008 mission team to Three Angels Orphanage/Halos Medical Mission in
Petionville, Haiti.
• Created and lead a year-long writing workshop for high school students at Midland Christian Academy in
Midland, MI.
• Planned, created, and implemented an art show featuring art, poetry, and other creative works by consumers
and staff at Genesee County Community Mental Health in Flint, MI. Held at the Flint Public Library.
