Oversaw successful growth of nearly 300% in assets, earnings, capital and revenues during
tenure while increasing staff by less than 10% during a period when local economic base and population

Manager/operator of land improvement & construction proprietorship engaging in contracts for
various land improvement projects including dozing, scraping, blading, hauling, compaction of soil,
clearing of trees and brush, leveling, grading, filling, controlling water runoff, for a variety of soil types
and terrains.
Design/build earthen dams, dug outs, ponds, terraces, and waterways; leveled and graded
site(s); irrigation preparation, and demolition projects. As owner/operator I handled all facets from
inspection, bidding, design and build, installation, subcontracting special applications, billing,
maintenance and operation of dozers/equipment.
FARMER - Managing General Partner-Vogler Ag Enterprises, a family farming operation - 1973
to 2011
As the primary, active, and managing partner and manager of dry/irrigated land with crops and livestock
(corn, soybeans, wheat, prairie, feed and alfalfa; cow/calf herd and saddles horses), I held the day-to-
day responsibility for the family farm on which I was born and raised, consisting of 4000 acres of
productive tilled and grazing lands in southern Nebraska/northern Kansas.
Performing both management and labor for the entity, from accounting and tax to planting, harvesting
and conservation and planning, the operation produced millions of bushels of food and feed products
over many years, enhancing the land’s productivity and preserving it for future generations to come.
