1 Operations Manager, Syracuse & Rotterdam, NY

Directed day-to-day recycling operations in a 25.5M case recycling

facility. Collaborated cross-functionally with Sales, Central Planning and

Operations Leadership to establish operating objectives, policies, and

procedures to meet department goals. Managed 41 warehouse, transportation

and maintenance bargaining unit employees with a budget of $8.7M.

Monitored ongoing and developed a communications board to communicate

performance KBI's, goals, key metrics, and competition; identified

challenges and addressed performance gaps. This process was standardized in

our other company locations.

Drove continuous process improvements aimed at increasing productivity

resulting in a reduction in a reduction of 1.7 cents per case (or $400k).

COCA-COLA REFRESHMENTS, 1988 - 2012

2 Distribution Manager, Maspeth, NY (2011 - 2012)

Directed day-to-day distribution operations in a 10.5M case sales facility.

Collaborated cross-functionally with Sales, Warehouse and Merchandiser

Leadership to establish operating objectives, policies, and procedures to

meet department goals. Managed 7 supervisors and 85 employees with a budget

of $5.4M.

Drove continuous process improvements to focused on improving productivity

resulting in a reduction of 4.7 cents on a per case basis.

Standardized the six New York facility repack rooms, check-in process, and

repack procedures and weekly standard reporting. This resulted in a $430k

or 1.3 cents per case improvement in product loss versus 2010 on 33M cases.

Participated in collective bargaining negotiations that resulted in $5.6M

savings on $500M agreement with largest Bargaining Unit in the

company.

Chosen to and successfully tested an alternative "urban market" delivery

system that has been recommended to senior leadership as our go forward

strategy for future vehicle purchases.

5 Supply Chain Manager (2005 - 2011)

Served as the main cross-functional conduit for Warehouse, Distribution and

Merchandising functions for the New Jersey and New York Market Units.

Lead the 2007 consolidation of 6.2M cases from two smaller facilities into

a third existing facility. Resources (equipment, people and technology)

were redeployed with no shortfalls in service levels and operational

results.

Partnered with the two Market Unit Finance Managers to prepare annual

variable labor budgets in the amount of $33M - $38.5M in support of 29M -

34M in volume (New York) and $40M - $43M in support of 36M - 43M in volume

(New Jersey) plans.

Successfully certified 10 DC's in 25 Distribution and Warehouse SOP's for

Operational Excellence.

Lead the Warehouse Optimization (SOP's) implementation in the New Jersey

and New York Market Units.

Negotiated and implemented a "Drop & Hook" Program for the New Jersey

Market Unit. This resulted in our Operations Teams maximizing customer

service and sales commitments during peak selling periods of the year.

Participated in a collaborate effort that developed management routines for

Key Accomplishments:

Project Manager for the deployment of our Order Fulfillment System (OFS) in

our Smithtown (12.5M volume) and Elmsford (8M volume) locations in 2007 and

2008. Capital expenditures exceeded $3.5M in equipment, training and

building alterations.

Project lead for the deployment of Voice Pick and Intelligent Pick

technology for order selectors to utilize in building customer orders.

This resulted in order accuracy rate of 99% or better in both Market Units.

Partnered daily with Production & Distribution Planning, Transport and

Warehouse Managers to optimize inventory levels to maximize customer

service, minimize product loss costs, reduce back haul requirements and

reduce labor costs.

Cross-functional Project Manager for the consolidation of four (4) New

Jersey Distribution Centers into two (2), resulting with a new "LEEDS"

certified facility built in South Brunswick and a new delivery system being

deployed for the thirty-one million direct store delivery operation.

Projected annual savings is approximately $750K to $1M.

Supply Chain lead for successful contract negotiations in 2006 and 2007.

Agreements were gained without a work stoppage and savings in excess of

$17.4M on contracts worth approximately $835M with the two largest

bargaining units in our company.
