11/2010 to 6/2013 Aircraft Mechanic/ CDI DynCorp International, Patuxent River

F/A-18 A-F and EA-6B Avionics and Electrical system aircraft mechanic and Collateral Duty

Inspector. Responsible for scheduled, unscheduled, and maintenance evolution inspection.

Responsible for diagnosing non-routine malfunctions actions on the F/A-18 A-F, EA-6B aircraft

and ALQ-99 Jamming PODS to ensure companies mission of testing and evaluating Weapon

System Integration (WSI), Electronic Counter Measure and Tactical Jamming System (TJS)

performances. Utilizes extensive electrical and electronic technical expertise interpreting

electrical and electronic schematics, drawings, publications, and other technical data to diagnose

non common US Navy and Marine Corp fleet encountered failures on 28 Highly Unique Test and

Evaluation modified F/A-18 A-D Classic and F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet and EA-6B ICAP III

Prowler model aircraft. Demonstrates and applies knowledge of wire repair; assists in the

inspection and testing of electrical components by applying theory of operation of transistors,

diodes, solid state components, integrated circuits, motors, servos, power transmissions, and other

electrical devices on aircraft electrical systems, including the power supply system, lighting and

control systems, power plant system, landing and automatic flight control systems.

11/2006 to 11/2008 Aircraft Electrician/ Supervisor/ QAR USN, Strike Fighter

Squadron 131,

As the electrical systems work center shift supervisor, coordinated scheduled and unscheduled

electrical and electronic systems maintenance actions on 12 F/A-18C command assigned aircraft.

Inspected, repaired and maintained aircraft systems by interpreting electrical and electronic

schematics and drawings for aircraft Instrument systems, Power Generators, Hydraulic Systems

and components, Electronic Flight Control and Fueling systems. Inspected the maintenance

corrective actions of assigned personnel and approved completed work assignments. Managed the

work-center workload directly contributing to 2000 plus mishap free flight hours and a work

center discrepancy reduction of more than 40 percent. This effort resulted in 100 percent mission

capable aircraft status during carrier and shore based work-ups in preparation for major overseas

deployments and contributed to the squadron being awarded 2007 CNAF Battle Efficiency

Award.

USN, Strike Fighter Squadron 131,

Supervised and trained 17 Sailors utilizing the ComNavAirForInst 4790 and other authorized

publications performing launch, recovery, preflight, post flight, turnaround and daily inspections,

as well as servicing of 12 F/A-18C Hornet aircraft. Directly responsible for the training and

certification of 14 Plane Captains with- in the work center. Assisted in the planning and

supervision of work center assignments by possessing a thorough understanding of sound

management principles, work center supervision, proper methods of training personnel,

organizing and administering facilities for the maintenance and repair of aircraft systems by

assigned squadron maintenance work centers. As the electrical system work center flight line

troubleshooter diagnosed non-routine malfunctions and demonstrated rapid repair techniques

ensuring all flight established training missions were completed during high tempo operations.
