• Attends operations briefing and highlights important points from the daily VIP arrival list, occupancy forecast, causes for variance in reservations forecast and previous days’ occupancy against forecast.

• Maintain effective relationship with external/out sourced service providers and suppliers with regard to agreed service level agreements (SLA’s).

• Assist during stock takes of housekeeping supplies, assets, plant and equipment and consumables.

• Assist in the implementation and managing a quality assurance program that addresses all aspects of property presentation, hygiene, staff presentation and conduct.

• Maintain open and effective communication with the guest relation and maintenance departments and ensure guest feedback, special requests, service assistance and maintenance complaints are responded to promptly and in a professional manner.

• To perform and related duties and special projects as assigned by the management.

• Resolves conflicts and/or problems existing in the department.

• Organize department’s events.

• Identify appropriate training and development needs of the department.

• Ensure that all Housekeeping employees are coached, trained and appraised regularly, that proper records are kept of all training sessions, appraisals and job chats and that departmental trainings.
