costs in excess of $100MM. Devised a four-year plan to remove

environmental hazards from real estate holdings at 18 locations.

Hazards include PCB's, leaking underground storage tanks, and waste

oil pits.

. Directed all closure and safety issues, such as planning and

coordination of exchange of properties with agencies to ensure all

needs and requirements were met

. Initiated and performed Business Case Analysis to out source all

operating safety and support services performed on 13 buildings

totaling 27,000 S.F. located on 8,500 acres. BCA reduced costs by 55%,

saving over $2.5MM per year.

. Directed the use of Architect-Engineer consulting services by

community Mayor's Development Commission to support Navy base closure,

and the surveys and creation of reuse master plan for 33,500 acre

industrial style complex. Contract values average $2MM per year.

Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Department Manager, U.S. Navy

1993 - 1995

. Directed OSH programs of 5000-employee industrial facility (aircraft

carrier) with interests in asbestos removal, safety, and training.

. Reduced accident rate by 200%.

. No accidents, deaths, hazardous material spills, environmental issues,

or serious personnel injuries.

. Experienced in safety programs in both aviation and maritime areas

with emphasis on training and prevention. Used as role model in

similar organizations.

. Implemented and conducted extensive formal hazardous material and

safety training programs where none existed. As a result, organization

was certified to instruct locally, saving over 10% of total training

budget.

required safety directives and procedures.

. Conducted inspections upon receiving and prior to transferring

aircraft, audited maintenance procedures, directed in-process

inspections, submitted quality deficiency reports, and reviewed or

rewrote maintenance instructions for certifying aircraft as being safe

for flight.
