PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR-

Supervising production of manual kitting and automated packaging lines for

customers such as Microsoft, Apple, WebRoot, H&R Block and Electronic Arts.

Supported the start-up of the Louisville Assembly Plants C crew.

Facilitated the training of 50+ new assemblers which included evaluating

and job assignments that resulted in 100% ergonomic success rate. Assisted

engineers in balancing work elements, and continuous improvement as needed

during the launch of the Ford Escape.

Dow Chemical / Rohm and Haas Louisville, Ky. (Nov. 06 to March 2012)

WORK PROCESS COACH / SOCIAL COACH-

Key role player in the implementation of Dow Chemicals' global work process

after they acquired Rohm and Haas in April of 2009. Responsibilities

include working with all groups and teams at the site, coaching all

employees and "lifeguarding" the implementation of Dows' work process and

various project roll outs to support the process and desired behaviors that

make the fore mentioned sustained and successful. Facilitated interview

processes for hiring new operators and in house operator selections.

Assisted HR by developing and reviewing value added people system policies

and procedures and leveraged information from resources in the Dow network.

Actively participated in EH and S by writing, reviewing and auditing work

permits and procedures that included high work, hot work, confined space

entry, crane operation, hazardous energies. Served as a member of the site

emergency response team / fire brigade / HazMat team, that included IC

training for off hour coverage.

SHIFT TEAM MGR.-

First line leader and Environmental, Health and Safety contact for chemical

facility. Responsible for production, maintenance and support of both on

off hours in a 20 unit chemical plant. Resolving issues on matters of EHS,

reporting and communicating production and downtime data, assisting

technical and engineering personnel with reviews and changes in critical

processes before implementation.

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR-

Supervised the daily responsibilities of 15 to 20 union workers in a tier 2

automotive forging shop. Performed audits on safety, quality and

production. Organized and implemented SOP's, material flow and detailed

operator instructions for manual forging operations. Communicate daily with

production scheduling and shipping departments to ensure on time customer

delivery and satisfaction.

Ford Motor Co. (Aerotek) Louisville, Ky. (Jan. 05 to Dec.05)

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR-

Supervised the daily responsibilities of 30 to 40 union assemblers and

operators on one of the final area Chassis lines. Performed pre-shift head

counts to ensure no fail line starts. Conducted weekly and monthly audits

on operations, work elements and safety to support the Ford Production

System. Performed daily inspections on safety and 5s. Lead weekly meetings

for area Quality Leaders and Work Groups documenting, communicating and

resolving various issues on safety, quality and production.

Oxford Automotive (Aerotek) Corydon, IN. (June 04 to Jan. 05)

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR-

Supervised the daily responsibilities of 50 to 65 union associates in a

tier 1 automotive welding and stamping facility that included pedal

welders, automated welding lines, pick and pack operation, rework and CS1

quality inspection. Performed daily audits on standard operating procedures

such as safety, quality, associate training and housekeeping (5s).

Monitored inventory levels of stamped and pre-welded parts for automated

lines. Maintained efficiency goals by ensuring associates produced

acceptable piece rate and had timely support from skilled trades. Met

utilization goals by keeping back-up jobs set up and available for

associates and moving them to those jobs when necessary.
