I'm applying for the position of Galley/Utility Hand. In September of 2013 I completed the "Son of a Sea Cook" cooking course at Sea School in Bayou La Batre, Alabama. The course was five days of Basic Safety Training (BST} and twenty three days in the Galley.
I also have my Merchant Marine Credential, TWIC card, Passport and a valid Maine Drivers Licence.
I feel that I need experince working with a vessel cook before I apply for a Cook/Baker position.
