Client TCSL Internal Project

Period January 2007 - till date

Description Shared Services is a TCSL internal project which

provides support to various projects in TCS. It

has nearly 10 teams and the major focus

processing Visa for all the countries for TCSL

associates, MATC Support, and support to various

projects in TCS.

I am involved in one of the projects called

System Support and also supporting Shared

Services ISC and IS. The team is involved in

developing & maintaining applications for

internal and day to day use. Based on these

data, reports are being sent to TCS senior

management.

Role Team Member

Responsibilities Analysis and understanding of Requirements

document, HLD, LLD and involved in preparation

of Test Scenarios and Test Cases for various

Work Packets.

Preparing Oracle queries for checking Data

Integrity between the various tables and

transactions that occur in different Database

schemas.

Executing the Test cases

Defect reporting and tracking

Performing Unit Testing.

Project Budgeted Order Costs System

Client IBIZ Consulting services Ltd., Singapore

Period June 2006 to December 2006

Description The System involves capturing Budgeted Costs at

Order level in both Purchases as well as Sales

Modules. This information is later used to

generate comparision reports between actual

costs incurred and the budgeted costs. The

process also involves updation of budgeted costs

in the Sales Order based on the costs entered in

the Purchase Order for the same item. As a part

of the process logic the system also accounts

for cost of items transferred across locations.

Other customization tasks for the client

includes Value based Discount computation,

Setting limits for approving Purchase Orders,

Defaulting Dimensions etc.

Project Maintenance Module Project

Period January 2006 to May 2006 - till date

Description The Module involves capturing Equipment details and

generating Work Orders for the Equipments. The

Module also schedules Preventive Work Orders for

Equipments based on the Frequency preset by the

user and prints the instructions to be executed.

Various custom reports were generated using C/SIDE

reporting tool. The Module is as well integrated

with the Inventory Module.

Project Process Support Tools - Project TATE

Client Barclays Bank, UK

Period Oct 2005 - Jan 2006

Description This program, a part of Business Banking

Transformation, incepted project TATE to

outsource 'Business Banking' processes for

Larger Business, Medium Business and

Agriculture (MB&A). TATE is a new tool built

to support the ALL TATE Application process.

The process for TATE involves enabling a user

to effectively use this wrapper application for

accessing different processes.
