Objective
My goal if to have a career where I constantly am tested. I love problem solving and being
challenged. I am also a family man. I have a beautiful wife and son who I love very much.
Part of my goal is to be able to give them the best life possible.
Summary of Qualifications
I began my career in the electrical field in May 2007, at the age of 20. I was enrolled in a 5
year apprenticeship program. I worked for Retzke/Synder and was part of a large project
in which we built Penta Career Center in Rossford, Ohio. From there I worked for a small
electrical company named Graff Electric. We did the electric for a Wendy’s and a Tim
Hortons. I learned a lot from those projects from watching a building go from the ground
up. In 2009, I worked for GEM Industrial where I worked at Jones-Hamilton, an acid
refinery in Northwood, Ohio. That’s were I was Introduced to the Industrial scene, I
installed tray, pulled and terminated cables in PLC cabinets.. I then worked for Olson
electric (now owned by GEM) at Chase-Brass in Montpilier, Ohio, doing similar industrial
work. Move ahead to fall of 2010, I began work for Sidney Electric. It was a school job in
Columbus Grove. After that job I worked for Henning Electric. I did jobs out at V-Tech in
Bowling Green, OH, Toledo Refinery Company, and Johnson Controls in Holland, Ohio. At
Henning I really started to learn and gain interest in instrumentation and automation. I was
about finished with my apprenticeship and I was given more responsibilities. In July of
2012 I graduated from my apprenticeship. I worked for Romanoff and installed level
sensors for the city. I also worked out at DTE (coal power plant) in Monroe, Michigan. At
DTE I was responsible for the installation of instrumentation cables and terminations. I
also worked at JEEP in the fall where I worked with control cables and terminations.
I have taken Journeyman education classes on Instrumentation. I know how to calibrate
instruments, and know how to use the Fluke 744 and HART meters.
I am the son of an Electrical Engineer for BP, and engineering runs strong in my family. I
consider myself to be a rather intelligent person and a good learner. Instead of going for
the engineering degree, I chose this path because I wanted a job with more hands-on
work. I’ve found what I want to do with my life, now I just need a job for it.
Having so many employers on my resume may look bad, however it just says how rough
the work in this area has been. I encourage you to call and ask any former employer about
me. They keep the guys with tenure, and myself being young, I’m unfortunately one of the
guys let go after a project has been completed and work has slowed.
Education
2004 graduate of Whiteford Agricultural High School. I attended Western Michigan
University from 9-04 to 4-06, I was undecided. I then began studies of electrical
technology at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. While attending I was accepted into
the Toledo Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee. I excel at math and science.
I graduated in July 2012 with a certificate as an Inside Wireman. I have completed a
course on instrumentation and am ISA CST certified.

I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I am also big into sports, both football and
