Major Projects in HP
Digital Retirement Project
As per scope of this project Digital Legacy Retirement is shutting down 60+ applications
(including EESY, FOCUS, BOSS, OMNI, PRIME, etc) and needs all the mapping migrated
over to the go forward systems. Completed Maps Development for INBOUND USPS 850,
Ontario Power 850, Chrysler 850,860,820. OUTBOUND maps completed 855, 857, and 870
for USPS. These maps involved conversion from standard to XML, standard to application
and XML to standard. Also worked on to complete the connectivity from HP back end
application to different partner using HPSB(HP internal software),Cyclone and VAN
connection.
Business Connector Project
This project is replacement of Business Connector project. Business connector is a web
methods application that connects SAP system, is replaced by SAP XI. In this project I
worked on Rosettanet PIP's 3A6, 3C3 and 3B2. Completed the map from XML to XML and
get an overview of Web methods in this project. Maps are written using Web methods.
MADO Project
This project is related with integration work of Merger and Acquisition of Neoware and
EYP by HP. For this project completed the 850 map for Ingram, Tech data and Synnex in
Mercator environment and 823 map for BOA in WTX server and 820 for Citibank in
DataStage 7.1 environment. Also, worked on connectivity from HP’s back end application to
these partners using VAN and cyclone.
On boarding Project
This involved working with different partners for their EDI setup. Worked with Canada
Railways on 850 and 810, with Samsung Electronics for 3A4MG1, 3A4MG2, 3A8MG1,
3A8MG2 and 3A7MG1, with Highly info for EDIFACT ORDER and ORDRSP, and with Ingram
for 810, 850, 856 and 870 implementation. These maps involve conversion of standard to
various form such as XML, IDOC and vice versa. Also involved Rosetta net conversion. Maps
are written using WTX Design Studio.

Next Gen Project
HP is switching to Seeburger for B2B integration. Worked with NextGen team to complete
the migration of maps from WTX to SeeBurger. Completed migration of maps which include
X12 transactions such as 820, 850, 856 and Orders, PAYMUL for EDIFACT. Maps are both
inbound as well as outbound and structure is idoc, xml, delimited file apart from standard
structure such as X12 and EDIFACT. Also worked on BIS environment for repository and
Trading Partner setup.
Apart from these projects I am involved in modification of various maps in WTX environment, setting
of trading partners using HP's web application as well as using Unix. Also worked on to provide
production support to fix the map and submit request to move the maps to production

I have worked in the Managed Service team of Inovis for Dell Migration project. Scope of the project is
to migrate all B2B application of Dell to Inovis environment. All the Dell's application are using
MessageWayTranslator, we have to first complete the mapping specs for those maps and then write
those map using Inovis TLE and Biz mapper. It also involves migration of trading partner to Inovis
environment using AI and BizLink.
Type of maps involved is EDI to XML, XML to EDI, XML to XML, XML to flat file etc. Transaction set
involved are 210,214,850,810,855,856, 860, 870 etc for ANSI X12, INVOIC, ORDRS for EDIFACT.
Some XML transformation also involved SOAP enveloping.
Worked on conversion of 200 maps from MessageWay to Inovis environment which include TLE and

Auto Claim Status Project: This project involved automation of the process of Claim status request
and status response between Provider (Apria Healthcare) and Payer (through a Clearing House like
PNC bank etc).
Responsibilities
• Design and develop a mechanism to Pick up ACIS/CSI (276 Proprietary format) Claim Status
Inquiry generate X12 276, transmit it to PNC and receive PNC/997

Cash Management Imitative (CMI) Project: Implemented a new Cash Reconciliation application,

control table.
• Performed Basic file validation(duplicate file, control total checking) and translated the valid
file into 823 and 835 fixed file format and deliver to Cash reconciliation application for

Worked on new design, development and upgrade of various existing WTX interfaces including EDI
ANSI X12 and EDIFACT, which are in Mercator version 6.5 and 6.7 to WTX version 8.1, tested and
coordinated deployment into Unix based Launcher.
Responsibilities:
• Used R/3 (ALE, BAPI), FTP, email and database adapters with maps communicate between
SAP and legacy systems.

projects using Gentran AI and GXS as a part of the EAI and B2B integration initiatives

• Worked as a technical analyst on the business integration team focusing on interfaces and
business processes involving Gentran AI, GXS, EDI ANSI X12 and SAP R/3.

I worked as a developer on on ongoing Project Envision which is a company wide strategic business
initiative for business process improvement and adoption of state of the art hardware and software
tools and technologies. One of them is to establish EDI communication between their partners.
Responsibilities:
• Requirements collection and analysis for various customers of Century Tel and
documentation of the business specifications for each map.
• Design and development of a parser map which takes a file containing multiple EDI
documents from the UNIX box using FTP adapter and separate and place each business
document in different file folders. Possible incoming files include EDI ANSI X12
856,855,997,810.
• Designed and developed maps to accept an inbound EDI documents 855 and 856 (Advance
Shipping Notice) and send the data to an SAP R/3 ERP using ALE adapter.
• Created a map for sending Functional Acknowledgement 997 for the documents received.
• Enhanced existing Outbound 850(Purchase Order), 860(Purchase Order Change Request)
maps to handle multiple partners. When data from SAP has multiple partners, map
differentiates the partners and creates separate ISA IEA segments for each of the unique
partners.
• Created map, which reads PO data in XML format from MQ Series queue and updates into
the SAP system as well as in Oracle where data is stored for auditing purposes.
• Created unit test documents and test cases all the maps and interfaces developed
