. Senior Project Engineer responsible for all technical roadway compliance,
financial objectives, quality control, scheduling, public safety and
project deliverable requirements of the MD-200 Toll Road ICC Intecounty
connector contract. A $245M construction of two interchanges: ICC / US 29
and ICC / Briggs Chaney Road involving interchange structures over
existing and heavily traveled US 29 and I-95 while maintaining existing
traffic
. Directly managed the performance and individual responsibilities of 15
subcontractors for a total of $29M, 1 junior project engineer, 3 field
engineers, 1 superintendent, 2 foreman and a 9 person crew.
. Liaison lead between the design and project operations team with
responsibilities including: value engineering, cost saving opportunities
and ease of construction analysis. Efforts resulting in ~$10M cost savings
from the original design and a 5 month reduction of the schedule
Skanska - June 2004- April 2008
Project Engineer
. Project engineer responsible for the maintenance of traffic control
operations, crew allocation and quality control; developing traffic
control and working plans, scheduling during major traffic switches;
procurement, submittals of payment estimates for an ~$150M Woodrow Wilson
Bridge project
. Designed AutoCAD drawings for major traffic switches to maintain public
transportation safety while opening areas to perform additional work
. Managed the coordination of all traffic switch operations including
personnel responsibility of 1 superintendent, 2 foremen and 16 crew
members
. Assistant to the senior project manager to manage subcontractors and
structural field engineers. In charge of schedules and labor cost
reporting, time card coding, change order processing, drafting and drawing
for miscellaneous engineering drawings required by contract

. Field Engineer responsible for subcontract management and complete layout
of sub and supra structures on a $20M project that provided a second
access to Ft Eustis to the city of Newport News with additional roadways
upgrades
