3. Very good knowledge and experience in organic synthesis, organometallics and coordination

chemistry (Phosphorus and silicon chemistry are involved in coordination chemistry).

4. Very good experience in transition-metal-mediated asymmetric catalysis and biomimetic

activation of C-H bonds

5. Excellent experience in purification and characterization of very sensitive organometallic or

organic compounds.

6. Well-trained on instruments like LC/GC-MS, HPLC, NMR (solid NMR), UV, IR, TGA,

XPS, powder-XRD, microwave, and so on.

Industrial experience and abilities

5 years experience in organic synthetic chemistry, starting from literature retrieval, design

of a synthetic route, optimization of reaction conditions, purification and characterization of

target compounds, and submission of final reports.

Good knowledge in the synthetic methodology and strategy. This includes experience in

total synthesis of natural products with structural elucidation.

Excellent experience in parallel and combinatorial experiments including chemical library

synthesis.

Good capability to do experiments on small (mg) and large (kg) scale under oxygen/water

free conditions (standard Schlenk-line and glovebox techniques).

Have strong management ability: supervised a research group of 13 employees. 1) Ensure

the rational arrangement of research projects and cost-effective utilization of labor; 2)

Oversee project’s financial aspect, including budget, cost control, and balance; 3) Provide

executive management of project’s progress with documents.
