expression via amber codon suppression (to incorporate non-natural

amino acid), FPLC, Unicorn, MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry (MS), circular

dichroism (CD), fluorescent spectrophotometry (FRET), electron spray

ionization (ESI), and protein crystallization (hanging drop method); x-

ray crystallography in collaboration with Argonne National Laboratory.
