Center Director - Manager of center operations of a day-care and pre-school program.

As a Center Director my duties include but not limited to planning, organizing and directing a

child care facility based on the requirements provided by the State of Georgia’s Bright From the

Start program. Used computer based systems for establishing payroll and other accounting needs.

Handled all funds and purchases for the center. Used competitive methods so the goods/services

procured were appropriate and that they were purchased to meet the needs in terms of quality,

quantity, time, and location. As a small center my performance for enhancing productivity was

outstanding, implemented a new/smart sourcing idea for purchases and was highly successful. As

a manager it was my duty to ensure the safety and quality of the building to meet passing

requirements by the state.

As a School- Age leader/ Supervisor my duties included implementing procedures based on

Department of Defense regulations for child safety and care. As a supervisor I used effective

communication for accurate accountability of each individual in my care as well as use strategic

planning for year round activities. Another primary responsibility was to keep accurate records of

the USDA food program and report accurately to my supervisor weekly.
