I am 59 year old professional, married with 3 children. I have been in the gas industry for over 42 years and I consider myself a confident and professional engineer. I communicate well with people and work well under pressure. I feel I still have a lot to offer to the right company.

Current Employment:

Oct 2011 - Present

I currently work as a service engineer for Carshalton Boilers. Dealing with boiler breakdowns, servicing, all types of boiler systems, fault finding, warm air units and unvented systems.

Previous Employment

Sept 1968

I joined North Thames Gas as an apprentice gas fitter. After completing my apprenticeship I progressed to become a emergency engineer. My role was mainly dealing with gas escapes and other emergency incidents. North Thames along with all the other gas regions where merged into forming British Gas. I worked in this role for BG for 22years.

Feb 1990

I joined Lambeth council as a gas engineer. My duties where dealing with breakdowns and servicing gas appliances in tenants properties. Due to political events within the council I decided to seek employment else were.

Aug 1991

I took the opportunity to join Potterton’s as a field service engineer. I enjoyed the role of service engineer. My duties where to solve any breakdown problems and carry out servicing appliances that Potterton’s manufactured. This job entailed covering a very large area.

Sept 2001

I took up employment with Glowarm Heating, a local family based company in Mitcham. My work involved dealing breakdowns, sorting out system faults and carry out servicing gas appliances mainly in south London.

Aug 2005

I joined Worcester Bosch as a field service engineer .I covered a very large area. My work involved dealing with warranty calls, breakdowns and servicing mainly Worcester Bosch products.
