YMCA OF FLORIDA’S FIRST COAST – Communications Specialist August 2010 - Present

Create marketing materials for the YMCA Florida’s First Coast and Volusia Flagler Family YMCA. Responsibilities include updating association and branch websites; creating new ways to interact with members through social media outlets, including Facebook, Twitter and My30; writing and designing email member newsletters using Constant Contact; photographing and filming for various marketing and fundraising projects; designing materials such as flyers, registration forms, images for websites and print ads; writing and editing various marketing and fundraiser materials; ensuring integrity of branding and graphic guidelines are upheld to highest standards; and constantly learning new ways to effectively communicate the Y’s message to members, donors and the community.
