Analysis, Spectrometer operation.

Handling of Gas analyzers, LECO Carbon - Sulphur apparatus, Baird I.C.P. and Specol

Photometer.

1) Company: Emirate Iron and Steel Company L.L.C. Musaffah, Abu-Dhabi, UAE.

Duration: February 2012 to till date.

Designation: Spectro- Tec. Engg. (SMP Lab. Dept.) and Q.C. Head.

Responsibilties:

• Analysis of bath samples from EAF & LRF on Spectrometer.

• Nitrogen Analysis on LECO –TC 400 analyser.

• Lab and equipments management in order to their effective use and output.

• Maintaining records of chemical analysis of regular production.

2) Company: Emirate Steel Company L.L.C. Musaffah, Abu-Dhabi, UAE. Duration:

April 1999 to Jan.2012.

Designation: Q. C. Manager( S M P)

Duration: April 1999 to Dec. 2005.

Designation: Q. C. Incharge( S M P) at 50 ton Arc F/C.

Duration: Jan.2006 to Jan: 2012.

Responsibilties:

Chemical analysis of bath samples from EAF AND LRF on WAS FOUNDRY

MASTER and BELEC LAB 3000S spectrometers.

Analysis of Raw-material like Ferro-Silicon and Ferro-Manganese and coke

analysis.

Analysis of DRI (sponge Iron for Total and Metallic iron.)

Physical Checking of billets for Rhomboidity, pin holes, Surface inspection etc.

Despatch of billets to various customers as per their Specifications.

Maintaining records of chemical analysis of all heat produced

Preparation of Test Certificates for various customers.

3) Company: Frontier Alloy and steel Ltd. Malwan Fatehpur, Kanpur, U.P.

Duration: : April 1994 to March 1999

Responsibilties:

Chemical analysis of bath samples from EAF AND LRF on WAS FOUNDRY MASTER and ARL

Yield strength and stress of deformed rebar from TMT (Thermo Mechanical Treatment) Rolling

mill.

Bend, Rebend test and all required test as per BS 4449 Std. for Deformed bars.

4) Company: SOMANI STEEL C0. Ltd. Unio Kanpur.

Duration: January 1989 to March 1994

Designation: Lab Chemist & Quality Assurance .

Company having EAF, LRF, VD, VOD Furnaces producing various types of Alloys Steels of

grades IS, BS, JIS, GHOST, DIN, SAE, AISI Low Alloy Steel with Cr, Ni, Mo V, Nb and S.

Stainless steel, High speed steel, Valve steel etc.

Experience of Analysis of following materials like

1. All types of scraps (light melting, Heavy melting, Forging flashes

2. Hot Brequeted Iron, DRI (Sponge iron) & Pig iron.

3. Fluxes and refractory materials like lime, Dolomite, Gunning material magnesite peas

and powder, Ramming mass, all types of cokes ( Hard coke, Met coke, CPC, Anthracite etc.) All

type of bricks.
