Selected accomplishments:
• Reorganized an HR Department for a manufacturer with five (5) plants to bring internal consistency.
• Implemented the first salaried pay structure for a 25 year old company.
• Additional projects include; compensation design and implementation; recruiting and retention strategy, policy and
procedure development, compliance issues, benefit design, training and performance management.
Allied Mineral Products, Inc., Columbus, Ohio

International manufacturer of monolithic refractories. Two domestic and three international plants employing 450 people
world-wide; two direct reports and three “dotted line” reports.
Selected accomplishments:
• Reduced turnover in the manufacturing facility from 140% to just over 7% by providing supervisory training and
redesigning the on-boarding process.
• Implemented CDHP/HSA initiatives to replace an existing PPO. This plan with a strong wellness program
resulted in 0% increases for the last two healthcare renewals. Renewals over the previous five years had averaged
20% increases.

• Chief spokesperson during union negotiations for Carter Machine with IAM. The contract was ratified without a
work stoppage and came in on budget.
• Wrote, designed and implemented policies and procedures. The manuals generated consistency within the
companies which reduced the number of charges (EEO charges and retaliatory charges) being filed.
