Performed installs, change-outs, Pm's and repairs to 2 and 3 ton split systems, 5 to 20 ton packaged
units, plus window units. Duty rotation periodically required collecting local Afghani contractors,
escorting them to and from the assigned HVAC work areas, plus supervising them as they work. Laid
off due to military draw-down.

Position held: Combat Automotive HVAC Technician. Spent 21 months stationed at military base “Q-
West” in the DS Maintenance Department, located just outside of Mosul, Iraq performing installation,
maintenance and repairs on automotive air conditioning units for Humvees, Road Tractors and
Enraps. Received Military certificate of appreciation.

been resolved.

Spent 3 years in active combat zone (Camp Anaconda) in Iraq as an HVAC Technician doing installs,
maintenance and repairs in company owned/insured vehicles on systems ranging from 2 ton window
units, to 2 ton and 4 ton split systems plus light commercial (chillers & towers) Maintained packaged
units from 5 – 30 tons in size plus maintained a Carrier chilled water system. Spent 1 year supervising
and training local Iraqi contractors as well as third world nationals from India and the Philippines to do
installs, PM’s and service on split systems and window units. Acted as Warehouse Manger for six
months for a tool room, doing parts and inventory control. Received Military certificate for high
standards of work.

Did Residential and Commercial HVAC flex duct-sheet metal installation and change-outs using
company owned/insured vehicles. Assisted in plumbing when HVAC calls were slow. Left to pursue
overseas job opportunity.
