Specialties

• BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE: Design ETL’s from Informatica, SSIS, and raw SQL. Analyze and load

flat files to Oracle for marketing purposes then to SQL server for analysis. Work with Business Objects

including designing reports in WebIntelligence, DesktopIntelligence, and Crystal reports as well as

solutions. Utilize Erwin to model database tables, joins, keys, and indexes as well as database compares

and DDL generation.

• REPORTING: Manage Business Objects and Hyperion reporting systems consisting of 3 Windows

servers and 3 UNIX servers. Develop Crystal reports as well as queries, commands, or ETL’s for diverse

corporate business partners. Work with Oracle and Microsoft relational databases including, but not

limited to, creating tables, querying, and utilizing stored procedures for reporting.

• SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION: Managed a 50 node LAN and desktops to ensure highly reliable

services in the demanding health services industry. Administered file, web, SQL, FTP, and backup

servers.

Experience

• Data Warehouse Developer, One Technologies, TX (09/2012 – 12/2012): Modeled data, designed SSIS

packages, and developed applications using Iron Speed. Temporary contract basis.

• Consultant, Teknion Data Solutions, TX (02/2012 – 07/2012): Designed SSIS packages and SSRS

reports as well as assisted in Data Warehouse design in order to meet client business needs. Utilized

business analysis skills in order to interpret client needs into technical solutions.

• Business Intelligence Manager, Targetbase, TX (2008- 2011): Successfully managed multiple BI teams.

Created and managed campaigns utilizing Unica. Responsible for quality assurance for team’s

deliverables to ensure accuracy. Analyzed incoming data, loaded the data into staging tables, then staged

the data into production, and finally loaded the production data into a reporting schema. Utilized

Informatica and raw SQL to transform the incoming data. Designed SSAS databases in SQL Server 2008

for optimal query response time. Designed database tables including transaction and warehouse. Created

Universes, WebIntelligence, and DesktopIntelligence reports using Business Objects 3.1 and XI R2.

• Consultant, WCI Consulting, TX (2007 – 2008): Designed WebIntelligence, DesktopIntelligence, and

Crystal reports for multiple clients. Consulted and designed information architecture, including the

creation of tables, joins, and datatypes, maximizing efficiency.

• Enterprise Technologist for Reporting Systems, First Horizon National Corporation, TX (2005 –

2007): Wrote Crystal reports for many divisions of the corporation. Set up and maintained user, group,

and folder security for the Business Objects XI system, as well as maintain security for Hyperion, Crystal

8.5 and XI systems. Administrate reports, output, and services on the Business Objects system.

Successfully interpreted business partners’ intelligence needs into practical solutions, which included

creating basic to complex queries and reports.

• Technical Consultant, Colvin Recreation Center, OK (2005 – 2005): Wrote SQL statements in order to

obtain statistics about general usage of the facilities. Managed the organizations infrastructure consisting

of a Novell Server, SQL server, and desktops with Windows XP operating system.

• Systems Administrator, Seretean Wellness Center, OK (2001-2005): Managed the organizations IT

infrastructure consisting of a Novell server, Lotus Notes clients, backup system (Retrospect), and

desktops with Windows 2000/XP operating systems. Primary responsibilities included planning and
