the field of Pumps and Turbines (Rotating machines). Worked on several
projects including the design of critical components and assemblies of
various kinds of API pumps and Hydro turbines. Currently working on the

Job Responsibility :-
. Development of deferent kinds of API pumps as per
customer's requirement (Order Development) & new
development.
. Especially working on BB1 (Axial Split-Single stage) & BB2
(Radial Split- Single & Double stage) Pump, VS4 & VS6
Vertical Pump and OH1 & OH2 End Suction Pump which follows
the API 610 Standard.
. Creation of 2D drawings of Casing, Impeller, Shaft, Gland
cover, Bearing Housing, Bracket etc for manufacturing of
various Pumps using AutoCAD.
. Also Creation of 3D models, assemblies of various
components of Pumps along with its full assembly using
Solid Edge and UG for new development.
. Design calculations of Pump Components like casing
thickness, shaft diameter & deflection, Radial thrust,
Axial thrust, Bearing life etc.
. Analysis of critical Pump components using Ansys & Nastran.
. Creation of Bill of Material.

I have visited R&D Centre of ITT, Seneca Falls, NY, USA for
three times to support different Projects & had training on Impeller and
Hydraulic Volute Design of Multistage & Single-stage Pump.

October'2007)
