Project Manager/Loss Control Officer:
Scheduling – Develop all project schedules requiring specific coding, resource and cost loading,
and the ability to be integrated into proprietary software for approval by the US Army Corps of
Engineers and related representatives. Confer with project staff and subcontractors to ensure
accuracy and buy in. Regularly update schedules and provide written reports assessing
progress, milestones, issues and concerns, recovery strategies and an analysis of the critical
path. Analyze the impact of changes and provide documentation supporting any extended
duration.
Safety Manager – lowered the company EMOD from 1.47 to 0.92 while not suffering a single
lost time accident. Train supervisors and employees in OSHA 10 and 30 Hour Construction
Safety courses. Investigate all accidents, incidents and near miss events. Develop and
implement all corporate safety programs and project specific accident prevention plans, and
oversee compliance. Audit the program, make periodic changes to the programs as deemed
necessary and keep all health and safety records.
Develop all project specific environmental protection programs, and waste management plans
requiring approval by various state and local authorities.
Direct and mentor personnel in the correction of deficiencies in schedule, quality, safety, or
other discovered problems and issues.
Review status of projects and the project budget, apply for payments from owners and
contractors, and approve payment to subcontractors based on progress.
Negotiate contracts subcontracts and change orders with owner and subcontractor teams.
Quality Control Supervisor – Develop and maintain overall company quality control plans and
specific project plans. Train personnel on implementation and oversee execution and
effectiveness.
Proposal Lead – Key in acquiring over $100 million dollars of company work volume. Many
were multi year, indefinite quantity contracts won at such installations as; Tobyhanna Army
Depot, Letterkenny Army Depot, Fort Drum and the Washington Aqueduct. Assembled the
required designers, subcontractors, and personnel into a team to successfully complete each
proposal, planned the execution of deliverables, coordinated strategy and review sessions, and
planned guaranteed means of delivery. Responsible for writing specific content, designing the
overall layout and look of the proposal and assuring references are responsive.
Most projects received excellent or above average owner and end user evaluations covering all
aspects of project execution. There was never a project that received less than a satisfactory
evaluation.
