Sample of Projects Completed
Evacuation- In one assignment groups were given the task of evacuating the
city of San Diego in the case that a situation similar to the one in New
Orleans were to arise. We had to establish evacuation routes,
transportation methods, medical aid, and shelter for 400,000 people. This
gave me experience in working with groups on a large project with many
different aspects to analyze.
Capstone- Redesigning a vacuum system which is used in the production of
transformers for Waukesha Electrical. This involved thermodynamic and
fluid flow analyzation and optimization. This allowed for great experience
working for a company doing a project that will be utilized and gave me
real life experience.
