Tehachapi Renewable Transmission Project (TRTP)

Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and Construction Coordinator

. QA/QC Inspector for the TRTP Segments 7 & 8.

. Responsible for ensuring project compliance including but not limited

to, project specifications, related project mitigation measures and

permits, project compliance with the Southern California Edison and

Los Angeles County rules and all other regulations such as

jurisdictional permits.

. Specific areas of emphasis and QA include: installation of Cast-in-

Drilled Hole (piles, piers and caissons); verification of rebar cage

details (vertical bars and slices quantity, off-centered ties, chairs

and spacer wheels); observation and verification of concrete placement

(mixed design details, quantity of cubic yard, water cement ratio,

documentation of slump values, concrete temperature, ambient

temperature, air entrainment ratio of concrete, total amount of

concrete utilized).

enforced.

Senior Field Technician and Contract Construction Coordinator

. Multiple areas of accountability included verifying conformance with

approved plans and specifications on many different projects,

including:

- Inland Empire Utility Agency: completed rebuild of Reclamation

Plant (RP)-4, upgraded pump station at RP-1 and installed

chlorination basin.

- San Bernardino Court House: removal of soil, observation and

documentation of placement of slurry and torque testing.

- San Bernardino International Airport: 60,000 yard runway

rehabilitation, encompassing observation over excavation of several

portions of the runway and testing placement of soil and cement,

including pulling core samples.

Senior Field Technician

. Performed several tasks and responsibilities to ensure compliance

with approved

plans and specifications on several different projects. Worked with

Ryland Homes, S &

S Homes, Toll Brothers and the Irvine Company

. Of special note, served as the Geotechnical Consultant Technician

and Substitute

Inspector for the City of Yorba Linda, with duties including third

party reviews over

contracted geotechnical firms and approving cut and keyway bottoms.

. Confirmed city, county and contractual documents were followed and

performed

all scheduled inspections.

Field Technician

. Performed observation and density testing on projects, including the

six million yards of rough grading within the City of Crystal Cove and

Newport Coast.

. Additional projects included the observation and testing of South Side

High School and Lake Elsinore High School in Lake Elsinore.
