safety record seeking craft or supervision job in maintenance, planning,
reliability, or operations.
Summary of Experience:
32 years as a millwright mechanic. Possess strong technical,
mechanical and problem solving skills. Works well with others in a team
environment. The past 8 months I have done some contract work which
included millwright work at a Nuclear Power Plant. Prior to that for 1 1/2
years I worked in the Planning Department of a new Coal Fired Power Plant,
developing job plans using Maximo CMMS software.
While in that Coal Plant I worked closely with the Pdm engineer
developing oil analysis routes and taking samples to be sent to lab,
setting up vibration routes, taking readings along with software
development. Also set up monthly activity report for the Pdm Engineer.
Currently certified as a Level 1 Machinery Lubrication Analyst.
Recent responsibilities include working in the Planning Department, at
a new coal fired power plant, researching major equipment documents and O&M
manuals for the purpose of developing job plans. Once the job plans are
developed I placed the plans into our Maximo CMMs software program.
Comprehensively trained in maintenance and operations at three
different facilities. One facility had two Drum Type Units (90MW and
240MW). One facility had two Supercritical Units (560MW and 800MW). Most
recently working at a new coal facility with a 980MW Sliding Pressure
Boiler.
Major responsibilities have been creating job plans in the Planning
Department using Maximo CMMS software, helping develop the Predictive
Maintenance and
Reliability Department, millwright mechanic, equipment operator, 1 year
training as a control room operator, some cross training in electrical and
I&C, safety valve repair, laser shaft and coupling alignment with Optalign
system, vibration analysis using the Data Pac 1500 and Entec Emonitor
Odysses software including the setting up of the software and running of
reports after uploading vibration routes to the software.

Mechanic at a 2 Unit Gas Fired Supercritical Power Plant
Equipment Operator including the remote operation of three auxiliary
boilers
at a 2 Unit Gas Fired Supercritical Power Plant.
Some cross training in electrical and I&C.
1 year training as a Control Operator at a 2 Unit supercritical Power
Plant which involves starting, stopping, and monitoring all plant equipment
from the control room. Training as a Control Operator I keep dispatchers
updated through Nodal Gaps.
Trained in vibration analysis. I was involved in setting up the software
and equipment routes. I was responsible for downloading the vibration
routes to the Data Pac 1500 and taking the readings and uploading to Entec
Emonitor Odyssey software on the computer then analyzing the readings and
running reports.
