Project: RMS Application Maintenance
Project Type: Application Support

Responsibilities: I created a Unix script that will delete old files that already passed the number of aged days. The files together with the directory of their location are stored in a table to allow easier change in aged day parameter. The use of a table also
allows a record to be easily inserted, in case there is a need to purge a new set of files. The project ensures that the server is within the allowable size by having the old files deleted at a given period of time.
Project: RMS Shrink Accrual Automation
Project Type: Enhancement
Duration: July 2006 – September 2006
Responsibilities: I was tasked to build a program that will check the validity of a file format which will then be loaded to a table using SQL Loader. A PL/SQL package is created to check the validity of the data loaded and then insert that data to the TRAN
data table.
Project: RMS Clearance Reset Automation
Project Type: Enhancement
Duration: April 2006 – June 2006
Responsibilities: In this project, the goal was to formulate a structure that will introduce convenience in the Clearance Reset process. Being the designer and the developer of the project at the same time, I covered the entire creation and testing of the Forms,
Reports, and PL/SQL package used. Before the automation was established, the client will have to send the list of clearance items to IT so as for the team to check the ones that are valid for clearance and ones that are not. After validating, the IT will have to
request the list of jobs that needs to run from the Computer Operations. In the automated process, the users themselves can enter the items for clearance and perform the validation. Because the running of jobs is also automated, a lot of time is saved.
