Job Duties:
going over provided blueprints to know all work that was to be done, create a budget and
time line to ensure all work was completed to blueprints and specification in a manner that
the company profited as well as gave a quality job while working safely. Used airless
sprayer to spray any areas needed, used brush to cut in or paint areas as needed, used roller
to roll paint at areas needed, floated drywall making level 1,2,3,4, or 5 smooth wall
surfaces, hung drywall in new construction areas, did drywall patching, wall and ceiling
texture, used stripe machines to stripe parking lots, applied water sealer on concrete floors
and tilt up buildings, applied eppoxy and other specialized coatings as called for. Sprayed
lacquer, stained wood, applied marine varnish, stain matched existing stains as well as color
matched by eye and hand other colors in the field using color kit. Estimated extra work,
filled purchase orders, held safety meetings, coordinated with other trades or people to
ensure timing and safety of others before starting work, was led certifies to remove led base
paint, ran several jobs at once coordinating all job task to all employees, put together and
used scaffolding up to 6 tiers ( 60 ft) operated booms 25 ft to 100 ft to reach high places,

REASON FOR LEAVING:
This was a great job, but at the end it required me to be out of town for 8 months out of
each year. Year after year. I had a wife and 6 small children at home. My boss needed me
out of town and after asking if I could work in town it was apparent that I was making my
boss allot of money out of town and he wasn't willing to put me in town so I pursued my
contracting full time so I could be home to help my wife at night and on weekends. Best
boss, best company every but my family needed me. My wife had major back surgery and
no one else to help.
