-Control all aspects of department

-Support and enforce all policies and procedures

-Maintain necessary control to keep expenditures within budgetary limitations scrap, overtime,

-Monitor associate training needs, ensuring competence and cross training

-Maintain high efficiency rate within department

-Provide necessary tools, equipment, and resources to associates

-Motivate associates using positive re-enforcement

-Provide new associates with thorough department orientation

-Coach and counsel associates in accordance with policies and procedures when necessary

-Maintain all related documentation, and production reporting, and all logs

-Support 6s, TC Circle and Kaizen programs

-Maintain running inventory of materials

-Control morale

-Monitor customer feedback (and all other key objectives)
