Assist Century Link Telecom Co. Provide services consisting of engineering fiber cable to AT&T Cell sites. Survey Cell site equipment type, location and provide the data to place and interface new equipment within the existing facilities. Provide OSP construction requirements and cad drawings for fiber placing from existing fiber points to the site(s). This project required site visits, customer liaison, permitting and follow up with all clients and agencies involved.
Killion Communications - OSP Design Engineering Roodhouse, IL 3/2011 – 12/2011
Assist Century Link Telecom with implementation of IPTV telecom technologies.
Provide engineering services consisting of design and modification and conversion of existing telephone plant to accept current DSL technology in the RSU environment.
Evaluate existing telephone plant to determine the type, location and loop length data to modify the existing telephone facilities using Century link systems for Fireworks, Bidmaster, Martens, EWO and Mapviewer.
Kenton Group - Transmission Design Engineering Battle Creek, Michigan 7/2010 – 1/2011
Assist Frontier /Verizon Telecom Co. in implementation of DSL telecom technologies.
Provide engineering services consisting of audits and surveys for central office (CO) and remote terminal RT) site equipment including site (osp) upgrades in MI, WI, IL, and OH.
Evaluate existing equipment within the CO and RT site. Determine the equipment type, location and
provide the data to place and interface new equipment within the existing telephone facilities. Provide OSP construction requirements and cad drawings for RT site upgrades and provisioning.
This project required familiarization and working knowledge of CO and RT equipment to include Adtran TA-500 DSLAM (and TA-5000 Aggregator) units, Adtran TA1248A host/client units, BTI 7000 Series optical network equipment and Actelis Networks - ML 2300 - CXR Ethernet over copper systems.

Utilize Lightspan 2000 DigitalTelephone Equipment served by aerial and underground facilities to meet customer needs. Outside plant engineer (OSP) assigned to telephone facility provisioning for growth in the San Francisco bay area for GTE/Verizon Telephone.
Design and implement copper and fiber optic cable work orders for both business and residence. Tracked right of ways, easements and permits for telephone and power requirements.
Distribution fiber provisioning, fiber optic cable implementation, utilizing SLC-5 and Lightspan 2000 digital telephone equipment served by aerial and underground facilities.

Member of Engineering Administrators Staff involved with 5 year plans and budgets, forecast work order scheduling, material requirements and construction coordination for GTE/Verizon.
