Job Description Responsibilities

IT Procurement: Timing Market Research to gain

knowledge on new products and technology and their

prices. Procurement of required IT Hardware equipment

(servers, switches, laptops etc.) for schools and

offices across the Global remotely in line with the

projects. Meeting the SLA's on time without any

escalations.

Ensuring selection of vendors for the requested

equipment by the Clients & ensure Correct and timely

procurement of required equipment with good

negotiations and required knowledge on taxes and

duties.

MS Licenses: Responsible for the Microsoft procurement

process, from placing the orders till installation and

co-ordinating with users on the due invoices for

payments and maintaining optimum stock of both hardware

and software.

MIS: Tracking the sale across different client accounts

for the Global suppliers and reporting to seniors.

Contract Renewals: Timely renewal of contracts and

orders with their database and selecting the

appropriate vendors and contractors.

Vendor Management: Single point of contact of all the

vendors related to hardware and software along with

finalising the terms and conditions for all the

purchase issues. Knowledge of contracts, warehousing.

accounting records with the finance team.

Mentored junior buyers by a training and monitored

their progress into full-time positions.

Resolves delivery problems and complaints, vendor

disputes. Negotiate payment terms, defects and warranty
