SUMMARY EXPERIENCE

A conscientious and self-directed professional with progressive career

related experience in the power industry. I have acquired extensive

knowledge of Electrical Test, maintenance, project coordination, project

management and scheduling within the nuclear and fossil industry. I am

responsible for the coordination, development and application of Project

Control Programs for various Online Maintenance and Refueling Outages.

DETAILED EXPERIENCE:

OUTAGE PROJECT & ONLINE MAINTENANCE SCHEDULER / COORDINATOR

(1998 - Present)

Southern California Edison - San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, San

Clemente, CA

. I have improved on the duration of electrical components being taken

out of service by developing detailed schedules and coordinated the

hand offs between the Electrical craft and Operations. Here are a few

examples of The Boundary of Work that I have scheduled

2. Testing, calibrating and replacing LOVS load sequencing relays

and the major LOVS Test 1,2 & 3

3. Coordinated with Electrical Test & Operations all Motor Current

Signature Analysis on 4 KV and 480 volt motors.

4. Coordinated with Electrical Test & Operations MDR replacements

as well as Response Time Testing

5. Scheduled and coordinated all control circuit PM work with

Electricians and Electrical Test.

a PC based scheduling system called Primavera, which includes training

and online operating schedules.

. Key member in developing schedules for the T24, T10 & T6 work week

production package reports. These schedules include surveillances,

preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance as well as major

capital modifications that are utilized site wide for all scheduled

activities.

online work during the operating cycles, including coordination with

the Electrical and Test Tech departments, assuring consideration of

manpower requirements and other restraints to produce a high quality

and achievable schedule.

. Develop, monitor and analyze the refueling outage schedule on a daily

basis. Provide a daily status to Outage Management if projects are

ahead or behind schedule. Analyze and identify the primary critical

path of the outage. Also notify Outage Management of any potential

secondary and tertiary critical paths.

. Possess thorough knowledge of nuclear & fossil power plant systems

including SONGS switchyard.

. Have a strong understanding of plant configuration requirements at all

times & conditions, utilizing the "Probable Risk Analysis" tool.

OUTAGE & ONLINE MAINTENANCE ELECTRICAL TEST COORDINATOR & SCHEDULING

. Responsible for the development, coordination, and updating of the

outage and online operating cycle schedules.

. Key member in developing the online scheduling process, by integrating

and scheduling all maintenance work (CM's, PM's, SV's) and

coordinating operational surveillance testing to be performed at a

determined frequency.

. Responsible for scheduling all electrical online work during the

operating cycles. This requires a thorough understanding of the

electrical plants distribution system. Also, continually coordinating

with the electrical department manpower requirements and other

restraints.

. Develop, monitor and analyze the refueling outage schedule. Chart

actual work progress and identify potential delays or concerns to

Outage Management.

. Responsible for the evaluation and implementation of a PC based

scheduling system called Primavera. Have an excellent understanding of

nuclear power plant systems. Plant configuration details are

constantly taken into consideration when developing the online

maintenance and refueling outage schedules.

"Systems" Project schedules for the Prudhoe Bay Unit. Duties include

analysis of Earned versus Actual man hours by Project and by

Engineering Discipline. Status of each Project's progress versus plan

incorporated into monthly reports. Relay problem areas to Senior

Management's attention for action or resolution. Furnish assistance as

required in any areas affecting the schedule making analysis and

As a Scheduling Technician at Tokamak Fusion Test Reactor, Princeton,

NJ. I was responsible for the drafting of CPM networks, charts and

curves. Prepared scheduling input for Mainframe Computer to Monitor

Work accomplished and modify logic in accordance with the latest

technological developments.

Transferred and promoted to a Scheduling Engineer at a 600 MW Coal

Fired Power Plant W.A. Parish Units 6 and 7 in Houston, Texas.

Responsible for developing Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Baseline

Schedules using the Artemis Scheduling Software.
