Drive Power Products catalog division serving O.E.M. and Distributor Fluid Power markets. Reduced inventory and
increased inventory turns 50% by implementing just in time purchasing techniques.

Modified Industries manufactures a full line of solid waste containers with direct sales to waste haulers in the
Midwest. Reported to the President. Responsibilities included planning material requirements, inventory control,
production scheduling, vendor selection,purchasing, scheduling just in time delivery of goods, material costing,
inside sales and sales quotations. Key accomplishments include: Implemented cycle count system of floor stock
items. This system resulted in a 50% reduction in inventory and an increase in inventory turns from 12 to 24 on
common parts. Developed just in time relationship with paint suppliers in a lead time savings of 5 days. Negotiated
price reductions from vendors and reduced shipping costs utilizing local supplier base and blanket ordering.

include: Established incoming goods inspection procedures to insure compliance with engineered specifications.
Established just in time delivery of specialty fasteners with in house replenishment by vendor.

the nonferrous and woodworking industry.

vendor relations in an O.E.M. environment.
DATA PROCESSOR/ENGINEER. Reported to the Director of Manufacturing. Project management position
coordinating Engineering, Sales, Shop Floor, Purchasing and Production Control departments. Responsible for
data base management, bill of material structure, order processing and engineering department record keeping.
Key accomplishments include: Implemented manufacturing order change procedure improving and accuracy of
order picking process. Made substantial improvements in communications resulting in increased bill of material
accuracy, on time shipments and timely posting of engineering records. Project management, coordinating bill of
material structure, manufacture and shipping to back to back Million Dollar projects with outside engineering and
fabrication facilities.
