international contractors simultaneously for Libyan Sirte Oil, Gas,
Petrochemical, Power & Desalination Project which was a more than US$ 15
Billion. Due to international sanctions, I started, operated and managed
offices in three different countries including Singapore for three years.
Total number of Engineers managed was more than 5000, with peek manpower of
20,000.
To be specific regarding my experience in the Gulf, I have worked directly

I have worked in the turnkey Projects such as Offshore Structures, FPSO,
Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Power, and Desalination industry for more than
three decades. My experience specifically involves project management and
construction co-ordination of Greenfield and Brownfield Projects. I was
Vice president, for Atlantic sub Sea Inc. and managed projects in North
America as well as in seven other countries, including the Middle East and
Asia.
A brief summary of my past job duties and responsibilities included,
overseeing and preparing contract progress/status/commitment reports, and
initiating corrective action when warranted. Interfacing with Construction
Management and Field Contract Supervisors. Preparing and managing a
complete suite of contracting procedures and forms. Monitoring progress in

production systems, such as loading buoys, Loading jetties for Low
Temperature Loading Arms for LNG and NGL, underwater pipelines. Revamping
underwater structures which may involve wet welding or dry habitat welding
and the fabrication of jigs and supports.
My offshore experience specifically includes the following. Managing EPCs,
supervising the work of rig crews (a drilling rig has two or three crews),
ensuring that the entire drilling or well servicing operation runs
smoothly, safely and efficiently. Managing and supervising contractors'
operations to comply with company policies and government regulations.
Organizing the setting up and dismantling of rigs. Supervising the driving
service rig equipment in convoy with other service rig vehicles from one
well location to another. Most importantly ascertaining that emergency
evacuation and medical procedures are posted, understood, practised and
implemented.
