Project description:
Based on requirements specified in international standards (IEC 61508, 61511, 61513, 60880) I
wrote technical specifications and parts of French Design Code for specifying I&C design for new
Nuclear Power Plant.
I analyzed the different I&C EPR architectures in order to ensure the compliance of the EPR
design with National Safety Requirements
Function and responsibility for the assignment:
-To carry out reports, to give advices in Instrumentation and Control Process (CI/BOP, NI),
especially for FA3 EPR.
-To write technical specifications for CI/BOP, NI systems (programmable controller) .
-To establish I&C safety and reliability requirements for French codes RCC-E, Preliminary Safety
Analysis Report, Final SAR…
-To present the RCC-E code to the French Safety Authorities
-To analyze and to justify the different I&C EPR architecture

PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS
International Electroctechnic Commmision (2003– 2009)
As Member of International Electrotechnic Commission, I took part of meetings in order to update
EMC standards and define requirements against EMC hazards. These standards have to follow up
the evolution of electronic technology. The members of the commission and I were in charge of
proposing new tests and requirements related to the new technology.
Workshop Network (1996– 2009)
I took part in a Task Force between AREVA, SIEMENS and EDF in order to propose a qualification
program for the classified networks of the EPR standard control system based on the plateform
SPPA T2000.
National Institute of Applied Science (1996– 2009)
Outside of my working environment, I taught industrial sociology to some 50 students at the
National Institute of Engineering and Science (INSA) in Lyon. I was further involved in the
recruitment process of these students to evaluate their motivation and aspiration .
