Responsibilities
Layout of the mine mains and longwall panels, autocadd, preventive maintenance,continuous improvement,
daily mapping on longwall panels and mains,setting of points underground for section crews to keep mine
entry's in line.Layout of belt lines, Management of other survey crews was staying true and accurate.Making
sure everyone was using company, State and Federal Safety laws.
Accomplishments
I brought in data collectors, so daily mapping would be up to date in case of mine emergency, so we would
know where the last open crosscut was, Set very strict surveying S.O.P. for all surveyors at our mine would
have to follow.Got State of Alabama Mine Foreman Papers, so I could pre-shift or on shift for anyone going
into a place that could be hazardous.Rescued hurt people,and deceased natural or fatality . Layout of splitter
shoots for multiple belt line coming together in on a place from different directions,layout of 27% slope for
700.0 ft., for coal bunker,keeping all surveying in a timely and extreme Accurate manner. Making sure all
union people were treated the same around myself and others. I for sure believe Safety is a must and good
enteracting with all workers is a must to keep raising of the bar.

Mine Management, as lead Land Surveyor, layout of mines, finding old mistakes made by other surveyors.Mine
Rescue and extreme training on call twenty four hours a day, doing pre-shifts and on shifts for workers to work

Foreman papers from the State of Alabama # 6949,Have A.T.F. License to transport, handle load explosives
in our mine under our mine Id.Safety I was always making sure everyone around was not paying attention
to a situation of getting hurt or become in a life threatening situation.Surveying has come along way with the
modern equipment out there that I was already trained on, used theodilite and data collector,and prism pole
everyday, they were still using a level rod

Mine Rescue going above and beyond the call of duty at a under ground fire we
had.Helping Tornado victims out in Peasant Grove Al,on march twenty fourth? doing
block searches for survivors with Mine Rescue.

We on Mine Rescue had to fight a underground mine fire that if it was flammable it was there for us, I got this
plaque in my office from my company saying going above and the call of duty at our mine on March10 2010.
I also got called out for Mine Rescue to Pleasant Grove AL on April the 24th to go in and do block searches
for deceased and survivors by FEMA. We were headed to Tuscaloosa Tornado to do block searches for the
same,after a long. Day at Pleasant Grove but FEMA said we did a outstanding job but they had plenty down
there right now but stay on call for them if we did not mind. We have 3 Mine Rescue teams,with nine of us
being on each team I consider to be very lucky to be voted in out of about 1500 coal miners. I know I would
make some company a good Safety Manager or worker.I have only had three jobs in my life so you can see
i'am not much for job changes.
