Philosophy
It is my philosophy that children can and will learn given the proper environment, guidance,
resources and support. In the classroom I model and demonstrate the behavior I expect in my
students and encourage independence. Also important to me is my love of reading, I desire to instill
that same love of reading in my students. This love is nurtured through exciting read aloud books, a
large classroom library with a variety of books from many genres, topics, leveled books and books
for every interest.
