Senior Logistics Subject Matter Expert
Began tenure as an Associate, Supply Chain and Logistics Team, personally
selected to areas of increasing leadership and responsibility due to a
track record of quickly assimilating and surpassing project goals as well
as a willingness to take on additional roles. Served as the SME for the
development of a web-enabled Joint Logistics Analysis Tool for the US Army
Materiel Command to predict logistical sustainment requirements during
deployments.
Led a four consultant team-centered effort to develop a $1.5M SCOR-based
supply chain performance management system consisting of 21 diagnostic, 7
operational and 3 strategic metrics. Identified $72M in long and inactive
supply in excess to requirements. Worked with an IT specialist to detail
metrics in a user-friendly dashboard display. Enabled the VA to rank 153
hospitals by each metric and analyzed top performers to integrate greater
efficiencies and best practices. Multi-tasked to make on-site visits to VA
Medical and Regional Network Centers as well as coordinate data from
various departments.
Key Accomplishments
. Led a three consultant team to produce a 10 year, $5B Army Materiel
Command Capital Investment Plan, focusing on expert forecasting of
depot facility, equipment, and technology insertion requirements.
. Spearheaded logistical requirements for a major migration from
Arlington, VA to Fort Meade, MD consisting of 270+ military, civilian
and contractor personnel and multi-million dollars worth of equipment
and materials.
. Active member of DC Metro APICS Chapter Board of Directors, a not-for-
profit professional association with over 220 chapter members. Held
two elected and one appointed position in five years to promote
operations and supply chain management education.
Pentagon 2000-2001
Army Legislative Liaison Officer
Used strong oral/written communication skills and client/prospect
development talents to coordinate visits between senior army officers,
civilians, contractors and government officials on Capitol Hill. Championed
expert administration of global fact-finding trips to Army units in
conjunction with key congressional delegations. Recognized for successful

Seneca Army Depot 1999-2000
Commander (Director-Level Role)
Tasked with oversight of closing process for this former US Army industrial
depot in Romulus, NY. Worked within $13.5M operating budget, leading a
cross-functional team of 120 union civilian personnel to ensure depot was
safely closed within deadline. Maintained the highest levels of safety. Led
win-win negotiations for transfer of facilities and property locally to
Seneca County as well as state-wide and nationally.
Key Accomplishments
. Certified 519 ammunition structures as ammunition free; effective and
efficient removal of 1K tons of conventional ammunition and
refurbished industrial equipment by truck to destinations across the
US.
. Partnered with the EPA, NY State Dept. of Environment and Conservation
and community resources to perpetuate an environmental clean-up effort
to render the depot environmentally safe.
Pentagon 1995-1998
Action Officer, Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations & Plans
Researched in-depth to properly execute a $100M equipment drawdown for
Bosnia, coordinating equipment availability, serviceability and impact on
US national interests. Coordinated multiple foreign military sales
actions. Synergized resources of dozens of equipment, policy, and budget
managers within the Pentagon to maximize on-hand equipment rates for pre-
positioned units both on sea and land.
US Army Worldwide Thru - 1995
Commander, Moenchengladbach, Germany: led 25 soldiers and 125 local
national civilians (union) with equipment maintenance, supply and storage
specialties to redistribute, by ground and sea movement, over 91,000 pieces
of equipment valued at over $500 million to locations in Europe, the US,
and afloat over a 14 month period with no accidents. Reclaimed $1.5
million in unaccounted property to return it to Army control.
Assistant Corps Ammunition Officer, Saudi Arabia: dispatched to seaports to
identify incoming ammunition shipments and prioritize discharging
ammunition for onward surface and air movement to units on the front line.
Oversaw movement/ re-deployment of over 100K tons of ammunition in a
hostile environment with no accidents.
Ammunition Operations Officer, Weilerbach, Germany: supervised over 100
soldiers and local national civilians in the receipt, storage, maintenance,
and issue of air defense and surface-to-surface missiles for forces in
Germany.
Commander, Kaiserslautern, Germany: led 120 soldiers with equipment
maintenance, supply, and storage specialties to support four Patriot
missile customers in forward deployed positions across southern Germany.
Commander, Fort Campbell, KY: led 250+ soldiers with equipment
maintenance, supply, and storage specialties in support of 40 customer
units. Prepared monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for production and
budget metrics and personnel evaluations. Responsible for personnel
training, evaluations, and welfare on 24/7 basis.
