Engineering Planning and Design

- Reviewed and approved all engineering design work prints before routing them to construction.

- Designed network infrastructure plans for fiber routing and BLC equipment placement to enable the company to meet both sort and long-term objectives for the provisioning of triple play (voice, broadband and video) services.

- Played a key role in the design of the $3.8 million project, which provided for the construction of nearly 100 miles of fiber optic cable, and provided for the placement of over 20 Calix B6 cabinets utilizing VDSL2 technology for the deployment of fiber fed BLC's to maximize the use of the existing copper network to provide broadband availability to nearly 2000 homes in a rural area of west Tennessee.

- Worked as Project Coordinator on the ARRA/BIP Stimulus project, managing the engineering team, and scheduling the construction crews to ensure the project would be completed by the 2015 deadline.

- Worked closely with the RUS Field Rep and the accounting department to implement procedures that would comply with all RUS accounting and tracking requirements for the ARRA/BIP Stimulus project.

- Made a presentation to the new Board of Directors detailing the nature and necessity of the ARRA/BIP Stimulus project and explaining the financial benefits to the company of constructing the project.

Workflow Coordination

- Analyzed workflow processes and recommended procedures to improve efficiency, developed procedures for improved workflow efficiency, and coordinated company-wide implementation of improved procedures.

- Led the engineering team to develop a paperless system to quickly and efficiently provide customer loop lengths to the Service Reps so they could determine the maximum DSL speeds each customer could purchase.
